Christmas Part 2 (meeting Santa) and Christmas Eve!

So Parks was able to meet Santa this year and quite frankly... he could have cared less! :) Maybe it's because we were running short on time and had to visit Santa not at the mall but at our local grocery store...or maybe it's because Santa was like 6'5" and only weighed 130 lbs! Or maybe it's because the only person Parker really wanted to hang out with that day was his, "DaDa," see picture below for proof! Who knows for sure?  But since this a milestone moment he can consider it documented. :)
I am in love with his teeny tiny Christmas sweater is these above pics, that was given to him by his friend Jacob who recently out grew it.

Danny's family has a tradition of being able to open one gift on the night before Christmas, and we decided to let Parks carry on that little bit of White family history. Here he is opening a present from Marissa. (This gift actually contained a sweet pair of ADORABLE penguin socks for me but Parker became OBSESSED with the pompoms at the top of the socks and chased me all over the house just so he could chew on them.) :)

How wonderful!! You have the sweetest family.
Of course opening gifts has its challenges, like keeping the gift safe from the onslaught of children. These events will likely continue to happen so we suggest boxes with paper or simple toys with the real gifts set aside. It will get better I promise!
