Parker received a sweet little blue piggy bank from his Grandma and Grandpa Polk in Florida. I used to leave a dime or two in it and Parks would walk around the house with pig for quite awhile just shaking it nearly to death and smiling the whole time he made the pig jingle. But this past week he finally figured out how to remove the coin cork at the bottom. So I had to take out the dimes to prevent them from accidentally becoming a tasty treat! :) But he still wanted to carry it throughout the upstairs so I let him...and that's when it happened. Parks dropped the bank on the hard wood floor and without the cork in place it literally shattered right in half! So needless to say we had to send pig to the great recycle bin in the sky and make a plan to find him a more durable piggy bank! :)
