Our new railing!

So as many of you know we had a rockin' 70s style iron railing separating our split level living room from the stairwell in our home. Alas it wasn't making the cut for baby safety when it came to Parks because there was no way to attach a safety gate to it. So Danny decided he was going to build a wooden railing that was super sturdy and could withstand a good beating by the Wee One. :) So he set to work after buying the materials and guess who his little assistant ended up being? Nope not me, it was Parker! He loved helping his dad with the whole process as you will see in the following pics.
Trying to open the bag with the screws for the railing so he could hand them to his dad.
Carefully inspecting each piece of the safety gate to make sure it was up to par.
Trash removal!!!
