I know everyone wants to see more Alaska pictures from Danny's recent trip into the field, so I snagged these from his camera to give yall a small indication as to just how bad the bugs are up there. These first 2 pictures are of Danny's arm and then of his back with a LIGHT swarm of mosquitoes! They definitely get both bigger in size and thicker in number depending on where he is working. Sure makes you grateful to not have to worry about that as a work hazard at your job..doesn't it? :)

But on the brighter side Danny and several of the guys he works with finally got a few hours off before returning home and got to do a, "suicide run," before they left. In Alaska terms that means you head out to fish late in the evening on one day and catch your limit (they were fishing for sockeye salmon) and then just after midnight you head back into the river to catch your limit for the next day. Danny had a blast and even though he was up all night (it was about 11:30pm when these pictures were taken) it was a highlight of this most recent trip for sure!!!!

Look at that proud smile folks!!!!

Big fish and bigger mosquitoes! Sounds challenging! Can Danny bring any of his catches home?
