Parker at Maclay Gardens

There are some lovely gardens in the state of Florida and Maclay is one of them!
Here Parker is walking down the brick walkway with a little help from dad! (Oh my skinny little boy just look at that teeny tiny middle folks...he sure doesn't get that from his momma!) :)

Parker and Danny just checking out the local flora and fauna.

Maclay has a number of ponds and reflecting pools which are lovely to take pictures at depending on the time of the year and what flowers/trees happen to be in bloom. I wanted this to be such a sweet picture. And as I have now begun to accept...Parker had other plans. :)
My dear friend Russell Grace (Owner of Russell Grace Images and former owner of Images of Tallahassee) has one of the most beautiful shots of this walkway I have ever seen. Danny and I tried to recreate that picture with only moderate success. And I would just like to add that I never fail to be amazed at how tiny Parks looks when his dad is holding him compared to me!

Oh those little pouty lips and tiny little toes...from top to bottom this kid is just adorable! Don't you just want to squeeze him folks?!
The gardens were once a privately owned plantation which were eventually donated to the state of Florida. In the garden are tons of the old sprawling oak trees that are covered with Spanish moss that Tallahassee is famous for. This one Parker and I are under must be at least 500-600 years old! That branch behind us extends all the way to the ground and then begins to grow upwards again, and is the same branch you see Parker standing on in the picture beneath this one.

Danny and his little buddy looking out onto Lake Hall from the pavilion. I love this picture because of Danny's expression as he looks at Parks.
