Night...err uh Day at the Musuem. :)

I have ALWAYS enjoyed visiting the Florida Museum of Natural History while living in Tallahassee. It is a great place to learn about the sunshine state and all of of its history from the prehistoric period up through the civil war and in modern day. They have great interactive exhibits and it really is fun and educational. (I do recognize by admitting to that I am making my nerdy side plain for the whole world to see!) So while we were home I called up our friends the Goehrigs and asked if they would like to join us. They said yes and off we went for a fun filled afternoon. :) The first picture is of the whole gang after our self guided tour of the museum. followed by one of just us and Stacie.

In this one Parks and his dad are looking at some Indian arrow heads commonly found all over the state.
Parker and his dad beneath the mastodon.

Parker getting comfy on a civil war cannon relic.

Parker at the helm of the Hiawatha, a life size recreation of one of the steam ships that used to travel up and down Florida rivers.

All these posts are such a super way to share your family with everyone. Thank you so much. Bet Parker will be one of the best prepared learners in Utah.
Love,
